Turbo... our first driving game. :o)
This game was received as non-working and was quite cheap(just the way I like 'em).
Upon power-up, the game would show garbage on the screen, make lots of random noise, and the LED scoring would come up garbage.
The game was already converted to a switching power supply and testing this supply provided the first fix... bad power supply.
After replacing the defective supply, the game would come up great. Only problem now was the car would only go to the left, even when turning the wheel right.
The second fix... bad infrared emitter/receiver on the steering PCB. I obtained the replacement part from Mouser.
